You will never find perfect in this life. Never.
And when I say perfect, I mean a life absent of problems.
Let that sink in for a bit.
Have you ever had a moment in life when everything, and I mean everything, was going your way?
Or, was it that thing A worked out, but thing B could be better, and thing C is stressing you out?
That’s having problems. That’s the opposite of having perfect. And that’s how this life goes. Problems are continuous and constant.
That’s the essence of what this life is about. It’s how it operates. It cannot operate differently.
Many people, including you and me, stress day in and day out about cultivating that perfect life. That’s why creator courses are so successful: They sell dreams as their product. That dream is a perfect life.
As soon as you realize and accept that you won’t have a perfect life and are here for a deeper purpose than “perfection,” life becomes easier to manage because you accept it for what it is. And you stop beating yourself up for not achieving perfection for yourself or your family.
Mirzâ Husâmaddîn Ahmad, explains that worldly troubles will promote a person though they taste bitter.
Yes, your problems are a menace to you: new ones, current ones, and old ones.
But those problems are what help you to grow. You advance into every subsequent stage of life better and stronger. It’s how we, in essence, operate.
It’s like taking a bitter medicine we know will cure us in the long run. The same goes for problems in life.
The problem is bitter at first. But the problem may be curing some aspect of yourself that you are unaware of.
With that said, keep pushing through. Keep going. And don’t be hard on yourself.
And know that where there is pain and problems in this life, there are moments of relief, too.
Even if we somehow end up with a problem-free life, we'll probably still feel like it's not enough and want more stuff 🙈
